I graduated in BA International Relations (2:1) from Queen Mary, University of London. I also have a Graduate Diploma in Law from University of Law, London.

I have over 5 years tutoring experience at all levels. My subjects specialities for GCSE/ A-Level are History, Politics, Sociology and English. I have helped students boost their grades by minimum one level. The lessons I provide include, essay plans, revision notes and exam prep.

Availability: Weekday afternoons /evenings and weekends.

Experience: My years of tutoring varies from private clients to tutoring companies. This array of experience has allowed me to specialise in teaching multitude of students, from various academic backgrounds. On a one to one basis, I always have notes or presentations based on the topic, accompanied by an in-depth essay plan for the students to write. I follow this up by marking and providing feedback on their essay writing skills, so they not only are practicing their exam skills but also regurgitating the previous lesson. This method of practice has proven to be an excellent way my students improve their topic knowledge as well as exam writing skills.

I have tutored in a private tutoring company and helped teach GCSE and A-Level English. I organised tasks relevant to the students’ school curriculum and managed 6 students simultaneously, ranging from KS3 to GCSE students. As a result, I improved students` grades through feedback and practice papers.

I was also a peer mentor for my fellow student. I assisted in essay writing for AS history resit. I organized one to one session every week, with notes and mind maps as a learning aid. I also used my own essay and some other examples of essay writings as examples of the framework that she needed to adopt. Through her hard work and help from me, her grade went from a D to a B.
