I became a teacher because I loved the classical education I received and didn`t want it to end. I knew by teaching what I knew, I could share my passion with others and continue to learn so much more about the ancient world.
Since 2008 I have been a Teacher of Latin and Classical Civilisation with experience of teaching KS3, GCSE, A Level and International Baccalaureate. I am currently Head of the Latin department at a top Kent grammar school.
I am also an experienced UCAS advisor, supervising over 100 applications per year including Oxbridge, Russell Group, Medicine and International applications.

Availability: After school and evening slots available, plus Thursdays during the school day every other week

Experience: Qualified as a teacher in 2008 (PGCE Cambridge Secondary Classics).
Head of department since 2013.
Director of UCAS since 2019 (UCAS advisor since 2017).
I have experience teaching the Cambridge Latin, So You Really Want to Learn Latin, ISEB and Oxford Latin courses.
I have taught language, literature and culture topics at GCSE, A Level and International Baccalaureate Level.
In my role as UCAS Advisor I have received training from UCAS itself as well as Universities of Cambridge, Bath, Durham and Oxford, and I have contacts at most prestigious UK universities. I have also supported students with applications to the US, Netherlands, Ireland and Australia.
