I am a fully qualified Science teacher and work at a local secondary school. I have been teaching for 17 years and have been tutoring for 10 years. I am very experienced in the current curriculum as well as resources and advice to support students with exam techniques. I can tutor in all 3 Sciences up to GCSE. I have tutored many students of different abilities over the years and I would consider myself very skilled in supporting students with their needs. I also have extensive knowledge of exam boards and how to prepare students to take exams.

Experience: I have been a teacher for 15 years teaching all Sciences up to GCSE and Biology at A level. I have worked at 4 different schools in those 15 years working with a range of abilities from students who need extensive support to those who are very able and need to be pushed further.

I am competent in my knowledge of the current Science curriculum in terms of the content as well as examination techniques.

I have tutored students for 10 years alongside my teaching job and have a good knowledge of what works well to push students further and support them in examination technique. These students have all achieved well in their final exams.

I am happy to travel to students homes as well as carrying out online tuition if that suits better. During the pandemic I have tutored via zoom on many occasions and I am well practised using this alongside all the normal resources that I would use. Students have found this very useful and haven’t suffered as a result of not being at school.
I provide resources usually in the form of past paper questions and I am very knowledgeable on most up-to-date exam skills that students need.
