I love maths! I like to relate the subject to real life and the individual interests of the pupil to help them engage with this wonderful subject.
I am compassionate and friendly, and understand the pressures of the school environment.
I can help if you are stressing that bit too much for your A* (grade 9 nowadays) or you are struggling to learn in a disruptive bottom set lesson.
As well as maths, I enjoy living in Cheshire, the countryside, yoga, hiking and skiing.
Availability: 9am - 6pm weekdays.
Due to other work commitments there are occasions when I am unavailable. I mainly work locally but if you are Knutsford based this works well. Please contact me to enquire further.

Experience: I am a maths teacher, with 7 years experience teaching in London schools, both comprehensive and private. I have taught the KS3 and GCSE Maths syllabus, GCSE Statistics and some A-Level Statistics modules. I have taught pupils of all ranges of ability.
After relocating back home to Cheshire I work part-time as an Alternative Provision maths tutor. This specialises in teaching young people who have difficulties accessing education for various reasons such as illness, special needs, or are Looked After Children.
I am a qualified TeenYoga teacher, which enables me to deliver yoga and mindfulness to teenagers.
Please see https://teenyoga for more details.
I occasionally use this in conjunction with maths tuition, if for example the child has difficulty accessing maths due to fear of failure. Yoga and mindfulness can help calm the nervous system so the student is in an optimal frame of mind for learning.

Excellent tutor and completely understood what my daughter needed and how to deliver the lessons to her. My 15 year old
Actually likes going there so that says a lot.
