Information about Bradley
I have recently completed my MA at UCL and look forward to using tutoring as a foundation for pursing my dream of teaching. Having benefited in the past from tutors during my own education, I recognise the great advantage that this has for a students development over conventional classroom-based teaching. I am confident that I can foster a students full potential as just my tutors did for me in the past.
Availability: I am ready to start ASAP
Willing to travel: 4 miles
Experience: Having only submitted my Dissertation in late September, the procedures of academic study are still second-nature for me. I began my Masters Degree immediately after completing my Bachelors at the University of Kent in Canterbury, obtaining a First Class with Honours. Furthermore, I was awarded the School of Historys Award for Academic Excellence (awarded to only the top 5 highest-scorers out of a department comprising over 500 students) for two consecutive years.
Alongside my education, my passion for teaching was further refined by my work experience. For over two years I worked for a company providing private tours of various historical sites in France and Belgium (primarily the battlefields of the First and Second World Wars) to small groups of guests (many of whom were young people). More recently, I worked for Chaucer College in Canterbury this summer, supporting international students through a host of educational activities on campus and on excursions to various touristic sites. I was commended with a staff award for my exceptional and engaging commentary for said trips.
These experiences have made me realise that educating is my passion, hence why I wish to pursue tutoring. History and English are my specialities.

Bradley has only tutored my son for one session, but he very much enjoyed it and we will be looking to continue. He is knowledgeable and personable. Thanks Bradley!
