Information about Lee
I am a fully qualified science teacher and Senior Examiner. I tailor each session to meet the needs of each student to help them reach their full potential. I am patient and friendly and believe learning should be fun and rewarding. Online sessions are available via the Tutor Hunt Online Classroom. I specialise in GCSE Science and A Level Biology with AQA, OCR, Edexcel and WJEC exam boards.
Availability: I have availability for online lessons on most afternoons and evenings. Please enquire for specific times.

Experience: I have over 20 years of experience in Science education teaching GCSE, A-Level, and BTEC Science. I have over 15 years experience working as a Science Senior Examiner for a UK Exam Board. I was previously Head of Department for an Ofsted rated outstanding sixth form managing a large team of teachers. Before entering the teaching profession I was a forensic scientist for the UK Forensic Science Service.

Lee is a brilliant tutor and has been tutoring my daughter for A level AQA Biology. She was struggling with the exam technique and this impacted her grades in her school mocks and affected her morale. Thanks to Lee`s tutoring, I can definitely see a significant improvement in her approach to the subject and she seems so much more confident. Lee has taken time to patiently review her mock papers and provided valuable guidance on the exam techniques and tips for scoring extra marks. Lee always comes well prepared for every lesson and teaches in a very structured manner. He also allows my daughter to consolidate her knowledge by asking questions during the lesson and therefore the lessons are very engaging and interactive!

My daughter was finding A Level Biology difficult and Lee has really made a huge difference! His calm, structured approach really allowed her to focus on her knowledge gaps through a combination of teaching and quizzing. She also learnt how to answer the questions which has made her so much more confident going into her exams this summer. I would highly recommend Lee to anyone wanting some additional help in boosting their grades.
