Hi there,

I am 26 years old, currently a Durham MSc student. I have over three years of work experience and a 2:1 BA degree from University College London (UCL). My interests are in business, marketing and creative arts. I love teaching too; helping others younger than me succeed and reach their potential in their exams at school.

Availability: Since I am studying a MSc and currently not working full-time, my timetable is very flexible.
I prefer to tutor on weekday evenings or weekend mornings.

Experience: At school, I have helped younger students with their art coursework as an Art and Product Design mentor and a Textiles prefect. At university, I have also tutored external students for their 11+ and GCSE English, Maths, Religious Studies and Art examinations and coursework. I have now over 5 years of tutoring experience in subjects mentioned above.

I`m very patient, open minded and I have various ways of teaching. This is important as I understand each student learns differently and at their own pace. For Religious Studies and Maths, I cover a topic/area per lesson. I can explain and help students understand the topics through presentations and online resources. I like to give short tasks/exercises for the next lesson to keep track of progress and understanding. For English, I can help children work towards their 11+ entrance exams and for GCSE level, I`d be useful in helping students write and structure essays well.
