I recently graduated from the Royal Academy of Music with a 1st Class Masters after Bachelor degrees from the University of Manchester and Royal Northern College of Music with a 1st at both institutions. I began learning the oboe when I was 10, along with piano and violin, so have a well-rounded musical education.

I absolutely love making music and enjoy a busy professional career between London and Manchester. I freelance with several English and European orchestras, play in chamber groups and also regularly perform solo recitals.

Recent highlights have been performances with the Halle and BBC Philharmonic Orchestras, tours with the Mahler Chamber Orchestra, a training scheme with the London Sinfonietta Ensemble, and winning the 2015 RNCM Concerto Competition.

I teach on Saturdays at the London Centre for Young Musicians where I myself studied and so have experience teaching oboe to the highest level. I am passionate about solidifying technique whilst never neglecting musical expression and finding out how each individual likes to make music.
