Hello. I`m a fully qualified teacher and have been a full time private tutor for eight years in which time I have tutored over 100 pupils in A-level Chemistry and GCSE chemistry, physics and biology. I am also an A-level Chemistry exam marker (OCR-A) so know exactly what pupils need to do to succeed.

My breadth of experience in tuition means I have helped pupils overcome every type of problem and stumbling block on their path to success. I have tutored successive members of families and taken pupils from their GCSE`s through to their A-level chemistry.

My lessons are tailored to the individual pupils need and are an enjoyable experience for both my pupils and myself, because science is fascinating, learning is fun and achieving success even better!

Availability: I am a full time tutor so teach every day but Saturdays.

Experience: I have a PhD in Colour Chemistry with seven years industry experience working as a fabric and garment technologist with Marks and Spencer. I am a qualified teacher of all sciences to GCSE level and chemistry to A-level with two years classroom teaching experience. I am in my ninth year of being a full time tutor and eight years as an exam marker, combining this with raising my four children.

My broad experience gives my teaching style a focus on real life when teaching science concepts which improves understanding and develops a genuine interest in the subject studied. I make careful consideration of pupils needs to achieve exam success in a relaxed but purposeful atmosphere so that pupils enjoy learning.
