Information about Dave
I`m a friendly and patient teacher dedicated to improving my student`s performance. I have a sense of humour, and like to see the good in things rather than the bad. I am a good motivator.
Availability: Weekdays/weekends/evenings. If the weather is fine, in the day time (spring or summer), I like to take students (adults) to Kew Gardens, near where I live. It`s a beautiful environment for a lesson. (I can sign you in for free as I`m a member).
Willing to travel: 10 miles
Experience: a qualified British secondary school teacher (in modern foreign languages) with experience of teaching Spanish at GCSE and A level.
I`ve also taught A level sociology, and English as a foreign language (in Brighton and in Spain).
I`m currently preparing adult students for the IELTS exam.
In my other career, I`m a former news journalist who has worked on some of the UK`s biggest stories in crime and education over the past 20 years.
