My experience as an engineer allows me to provide appropriate examples of how the Maths and Physics topics covered in the coursework are directly applicable to real life.
This speeds up learning and ensures a depth of visual understanding beyond the recollection of formulae or reliance on a calculator.
I enjoy teaching students these important subjects in a clear, visual, sensitive, confident manner. My easy "C-Saw" approach to teaching Algebra (the essence of all Science calculations) has enabled students of all ages to pick the subject up quickly with a solid understanding of the principles enabling early application to Scientific Problem solving.

Availability: Monday to Friday Daytime and Evenings
Weekends Daytime preferred.

Experience: I attained a B.Sc (2.1) Hons Degree in Engineering after studying A Level Maths, Physics and Further Maths at school. I then worked as an Engineer, Project Engineer,Subsea Engineer and Engineering Manager in the Oil & Gas industry until 2015. I also work part time in the Renewables Industry assisting the development of Tidal Energy conversion devices.

I have been tutoring Maths and Physics across most exam boards (AQA,Edexcel,IGCSE) since April 2016.
