My name is Amr, I am a qualified lecturer with over 20 years of teaching experience of Sciences and maths. I hold a BSc in Pharmacy, as well as an MSc and PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of inspiring generations of students to develop confidence in their abilities, enjoy learning, and achieve their academic potential.

My teaching approach is interactive, supportive, and tailored to each student’s individual learning style and ability. I have successfully worked with students of different abilities and learning needs, including students with ADHD and students recovering from traumatic experiences following accidents. By building confidence, mastery, and a positive learning environment.

Experience: am an experienced and passionate Science Tutor with extensive teaching experience across all three sciences - Biology, Chemistry, and Physics - including Combined Science at both GCSE and A-Level. Over the years, I have successfully taught students from a wide range of academic backgrounds and abilities, helping them build confidence, strengthen their scientific understanding, and achieve excellent examination results.

I am fully familiar with all major UK exam boards, including AQA, Edexcel, and OCR, which allows me to tailor lessons specifically to the requirements, assessment styles, and mark schemes of each specification. My teaching approach combines strong subject knowledge with exam-focused techniques, ensuring students not only understand the content but also know how to apply their knowledge effectively in examinations.

I have a strong track record of student achievement, with many students improving by at least two grades after working with me. One of my most rewarding success stories involved students who were initially predicted grades 3-3 in Combined Science and went on to achieve grades 7-6 in their final GCSE examinations.
Over the years, my A level students have progressed into fields such as Medicine, Dentistry, Mechanical Engineering, and Psychology.

I take pride in identifying individual learning needs, breaking down complex scientific concepts into simple and engaging explanations, and creating a supportive learning environment that motivates students to reach their full potential.

In addition to improving academic performance, I focus on developing students` confidence, independent learning skills, and exam technique. My lessons are structured, interactive, and adapted to each student`s pace and goals, whether they are aiming to pass, secure top grades, or prepare for progression into A-Level studies, university, or healthcare-related careers.
