Hello my name is Alex and I am a tutor for primary school children of all abilities, specialising in England and Maths. I am available for one-to-one or group tutoring. I am a fully qualified teacher, having qualified gaining my PGCE from East London University. I have five years experience at a four-form, inner city south London school.

Private one-to-one tuition can provide your child with a great opportunity to consolidate learning that has occurred in school and fill any gaps in the child`s knowledge. I can also significantly contribute in preparing your child for the transition to Key Stage 3, building confidence and giving them a head start for Year 7.

I will provide the learning materials and resources for each lesson as well as provide direction for additional home learning.

I feel my experiences both in and out of school, working with a variety of children in educational and sporting situations have allowed me to build my expertise and knowledge of education and learning. I hope to be able to pass that on to your child and allow them to make progress and flourish in their educational journey.

Availability: I am available weekday evenings 5.30pm - 8pm during term-time, Sunday depending on request and I am flexible during the Christmas, Easter, Summer and Half-term breaks.

Willing to travel: 5 miles

Experience: I have five years experience across Key Stages 1, 2 and 3 specifically three years in Year 6 preparing children for SATS assessments in Reading Comprehension, SPaG, Arithmetic and Mathematical Reasoning. I have also taught KS1 and KS3 thus broadening my understanding of the curriculum and ultimately the requirements to succeed in KS2.
