I am a passionate and experienced English specialist. My Bachelor’s degree in History and my Master’s of Art in English shows that I am highly versatile. I have taught a range of courses since becoming a teacher and am particularly successful at teaching A-Level. I like to think that my A* in A-Level English Literature helps me see how students can overachieve in the same way that I did.

As a tutor, I would act as a supplement to school work that is set, and I am also happy to address areas of difficulty.

Experience: I have worked as an English teacher for 4 years in Essex. I teach Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5, and I have taught A-Level English Literature/Language and A-Level English Literature. I usually teach the AQA exam board for GCSE / A-Level but have some awareness of the OCR specification too.
