Head of Economics and Business in prestigious independent girls’ school in south-west London from 2013 to 2025. I am an experienced teacher of both Economics and Business for A-level and GCSE. Examiner for Edexcel Economics (Paper 3 in 2025). I have tutored all A level Economics specifications (Edexcel / AQA / Eduqas / OCR / CIE PreU). My approach is twofold: firstly, to ensure core knowledge is secure, and secondly, to build exam skills and competencies. An emphasis is placed on connecting theory with the real world of Economics and Business.

Availability: Evening / weekends / school holiday periods, by mutual agreement. My preference is to travel to the student’s location (usually no additional fee for this and it makes it easier for the student and their families) but with Covid it’s quite possible to work entirely remotely.

Most recent results (2025): Economics A level 38% A* and 81% A*A. I have a Bachelor`s degree from the University of Edinburgh, Masters from the University of Surrey and PGCE with Business specialism. Have acted as examiner for Edexcel Economics and have experience in working with A-level specifications. Support with university applications, personal statements and related. I regard my tutoring as a shared journey with the student so that once begun, we will see it through to a successful end! I take great pride in seeing my students do well.
