Emmanuel

I am an Aeronautical Engineering graduate from Imperial College London, working at Jaguar Land Rover. Throughout my university life I was involved in teaching, albeit teaching university students about rocketry or breaking down complicated science to families at various events like the Farnborough airshow. Most recently I was working at the Science Museum in London as an Explainer where my primary duties were to explain the science behind our exhibits like Tim Peake`s Soyuz capsule or the many interactive exhibits aimed at children aged 16 and under emphasising the links to the key stage 1,2 and 3 curriculum.

I enjoyed my work at the Science Museum and want to continue utilising the skills and knowledge I learnt whilst there. What I most enjoyed was the detail to individualistic learning styles such as kinaesthetic, logical, visual, verbal etc. I wish to bring those skills and lessons to understanding the individual needs of each child and capitalise on their learning strengths while helping them improve in areas they may be weaker in.

Availability: Monday - Thursday from 6pm onwards.

Experience: I have worked as an Explainer at the London Science Museum where I had to breakdown scientific concepts to children ages 6 all the way up to 16.

Have taught university students and secondary school students about rocketry
