Sophie

Hello, my name is Sophie and I`m studying MEng Aerospace Engineering at the University of Bristol.

I am particularly passionate about encouraging women to pursue STEM subjects beyond GCSE level by developing their confidence in these subjects.

Experience: I have four A*s at A-Level (maths, further maths, physics and geography), and at GCSE achieved nine grade 9s.

I can therefore competently guide you through your specification, teaching and reinforcing concepts covered in lessons and providing support with homework and exam questions, as well as offering advice on revision techniques and methods.

I have previously volunteered as a reading partner to y7 students within secondary school. These sessions required me to plan, find and make resources to build on the previous week’s activities and what the child struggled with in order to aid their progression in a personalised manner.
