I’m a dedicated teacher with over 6 years of experience working in schools across Greater Manchester and Yorkshire. I specialise in supporting Year 6 pupils to succeed in their SATs, with a strong track record of raising attainment and building confidence. As a former KS2 Phase Leader and Writing Lead, I bring leadership experience and deep curriculum knowledge to my tutoring. I’m passionate about identifying each child’s individual barriers and anxieties, and helping them overcome these through tailored support in both English and Maths.

Availability: My availability is flexible and can be adjusted to suit your needs. Please don’t hesitate to ask—I’m happy to rearrange my schedule where possible. Weekend mornings (UK time) are usually available too.

Experience: I have over 6 years of teaching experience in mainstream UK primary schools, working across all of Key Stage 2 and with Key Stage 1, including early phonics. I’ve held key leadership roles such as KS2 Phase Leader and Writing Lead, and have consistently helped raise standards, particularly in Year 6 SATs preparation. I have extensive experience supporting children with SEN, taking time to identify individual anxieties and barriers to learning, and creating strategies to help them succeed. I plan and deliver my own lessons and schemes of work, tailoring them to meet the specific needs, interests, and goals of each learner.
