Information about Jack
I am currently a PhD student in the History Department at King’s College, London. I have a Masters’ in Political Thought and Intellectual History from UCL & QMUL and, before that, I read History at the University of Oxford. I am keen to tutor hard-working A-Level and GCSE students in History, Philosophy or Government and Politics. I am also available for tuition for Oxbridge applications and general sessions to improve essay-writing.

Experience: I have been tutoring GCSE, A-Level and undergraduate students for over 3 years, and I have 6 years of experience working with A-Level and GCSE students in some educational capacity. I was a senior student ambassador at Mansfield College, Oxford. This involved working closely with prospective Oxbridge students, preparing them for interviews and running personal statement workshops. I led subject-specific sessions (in history, philosophy and law). I worked closely with the Senior Tutor for admissions during my undergraduate degree, and have experience working in academic administration at St. Antony`s College, Oxford.

Jack is a very knowledgeable and organised tutor. Jack, Has just started to tutor my daughter for her A Level History exams. We switched to him after my daughter decided that she was not happy with the support she was receiving from a previous tutor. Jack has connected well with he, she now feels she is getting the kind of support she wants.
