I’m a qualified Mathematics Teacher with over a decade of experience, teaching since 2011. I completed my Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) at Edge Hill University, after graduating with a BSc (Hons) in Physiology and Pharmacology from the University of Nottingham.

My approach is clear, supportive, and confidence-building. I break complex topics into manageable steps, helping students understand the “why” as well as the “how”. I also use real-life examples to make maths more engaging and easier to apply.

I’m proud to have a 100% pass rate, with students consistently improving their grades in a short period of time.

Availability: I offer maths tuition for all ages and abilities, available Monday to Sunday, with flexible time slots to suit your schedule. Lessons are available during weekdays, evenings, and weekends, and can be arranged on a regular weekly basis or as intensive catch-up sessions before exams.

Experience: I provide online maths tuition for KS3, Functional Skills Level 1 and Level 2, GCSE and IGCSE, covering all exam boards. I have extensive experience supporting students at different starting points, whether they need to build confidence from the basics, close key knowledge gaps quickly, or push for the top grades.

My lessons include clear explanations of the underlying mathematical theory, followed by fully worked examples to model excellent method and exam technique. Students then practise questions independently with my guidance and live feedback, so misconceptions are addressed straight away and understanding is secure. I also focus on helping students show full working clearly, improve accuracy, and approach multi-step problems with confidence.

Every lesson is tailored to the individual. I adapt the pace and content to suit each student’s needs and focus on the most relevant areas of the syllabus, whether that means strengthening topics that feel challenging, improving problem-solving skills, or providing advanced/stretch questions for students aiming for higher grades. I also support exam preparation through targeted topic revision, past-paper practice, timed questions, and strategies for common exam pitfalls.

Recently, a year 11 student I have been teaching for a couple of months improved by two grades during his mocks through weekly tuition with me, showing the impact of consistent, structured support.

Between sessions, I can set purposeful practice tasks and revision plans to keep progress consistent and measurable.
