My name is Alex. I am a 31 year old lecturer in human geography at a UK university, with 8 years private tutoring experience. I have BA, MA, and doctorate degrees in the discipline of Geography.
Availability: Evenings and weekends.
Willing to travel: 10 miles
Experience: I have been providing tuition to Geography students for 8 years, from Key Stage 3 to A-Level, and have taken students working at Ds and Cs, to As and Bs. I work with the student closely, seeking to understand how they work and revise, instead of imposing my own regime on them. I empathise with students, understanding the stresses they are under, and rather than add to these, try and work at their level, taking the pressure off which yields much better results in my experience.
