I live in Newbury and hold a First Class degree in Classics from Oxford university. As part of my degree I was quickly taught Ancient Greek from scratch in around two years. This means I have considerable experience with both Latin and Greek, and also in being taught at the highest level. I feel this gives me the skills required to make a good private tutor, and will focus my teaching not just around grammar and vocabulary but also through tackling texts - which I believe is key.

Availability: Generally available all weekdays and weekends, except for when I have personal arrangements.

Experience: I received an A* at GCSE Latin before achieving an A at AS and A2 Latin. I have just finished studying at Balliol College, Oxford, where I studied Classics for 4 years and was taught Ancient Greek from Scratch. I received a First Class in my final examinations.
