I have 9 years experience in education, working with both Gifted and Talented and Special Educational Needs children from very young to adult. I am able to tutor biology to `A`-Level and beyond and have given tuition one to one and in small groups, with very good success rates. I am willing to tutor Chemistry to KS4 (GCSE) and Physics and Mathematics at KS3, plus primary education at KS1 and 2. I enjoy teaching and the feedback given from pupils is that I am caring, patient and supportive. High expectations and raising achievement levels of pupils is achieved by challenging and informative sessions, which are rewarding and enjoyable.

Experience: My science career is varied and extensive. Knowledge and expertise was gained in Biology, Biochemistry, Analytical Science, Virology, Microbiology and Immunology. I have published 19 papers. For 14 years I specialised in Molecular Biology, gaining Clinical Scientist registration in Molecular Genetics. A large part of my work involved teaching, mentoring, demonstrating skills or activities to pupils and staff from school experience level to PhD.

For the last 9 years I have worked in schools and colleges with children aged 11-18. Recently I completed a Post Graduate Certificate (PGCert) in secondary education with science (Biology) specialisation. Since graduating I have worked with various supply education agencies in a number of primary schools gaining experience in KS1 and KS2 teaching methods.
