I am a qualified Secondary English teacher and currently work in one of Berkshire’s leading comprehensive schools.

I am a friendly and passionate English teacher with a BA degree in English Literature and History. In addition, I have a Masters degree in English Literature and a PGCE in Secondary English.


I can help with both subject knowledge and exam technique; I will provide any necessary handouts and notes to aid a student`s own revision.

Availability: Monday 4pm-7pm
Wednesday 4pm-7pm
Saturday 9am-12pm

Experience: I have worked and observed in a variety of secondary schools across the UK and London, which has provided me with extensive knowledge of the national curriculum and the demands of external examinations. I also have recent experience as a GCSE exam marker for one of the UK`s leading exam boards. My approach to tutoring is relaxed but structured which is centred around pupil progress. I am happy to liaise with parents and students together to ensure we devise the best possible plan.

I have tutored many GCSE students, all of which have met or exceeded their official targets in their final GCSE Literature and Language examinations.
