I am currently studying a PhD in Chemistry, alongside tutoring GCSE and A-level Chemistry and Mathematics. My academic path has given me a deep understanding of core chemical principles, as well as how they connect across topics and exam specifications. I aim to help students move beyond memorisation to genuinely understand why things work, which often leads to improved confidence and deeper interest. My lessons are structured, supportive, and tailored to each student’s ability and goals, whether that is improving grades, preparing for exams, or building confidence in the subject.

Availability: Monday-Friday after 4pm. Weekends 9am-5pm.

Experience: Alongside my academic work, I have extensive experience supporting teenagers in structured learning environments. I previously delivered the National Citizen Service (NCS) programme, working with 15–17-year-olds in both group and one-to-one settings. This role required clear communication, adaptability, safeguarding awareness, and the ability to motivate and engage young people with varying confidence levels and learning styles.

I have also worked with summer language schools for international students, supporting young people from a wide range of cultural and educational backgrounds. This experience strengthened my ability to communicate concepts clearly, be patient, and adapt explanations for students who may lack confidence. Together, these roles ensure I provide a calm, structured, and supportive tutoring environment for students aged 14–18.
