Information about Adrian
I am a friendly, approachable qualified primary teacher, with further experience in other age groups from 7-25. I have taught in primary, as well as lecturing in FE (Computing and Business) and have worked with ages 15-25 on the National Citizen Service since 2012. My specialism is teaching KS2 Maths, to help prepare young people for their SATs. I am particularly interested in helping Gifted and Talented children to challenge themselves and progress further, but am happy to support and mentor those pupils who are struggling in a mainstream school setting, to improve their confidence and learning. I actively encourage and welcome parental involvement in my tutoring sessions, as often this empowers parents to better support their children on tasks such as school homework. I have current clients/references available and have enhanced DBS via the update service.
