It`s only by doing the maths at the point of real life problems can you truly understand how and why things work. By going to the first principles and building on these you can build a very deep understanding. It`s this deep understanding I want to help students obtain.

I`m interested in properly supporting students to really understand. With this proper understanding then exams are easy and the understanding will remain forever. More than just understanding, I can show where the theory derived and how it links to other areas of the field.

I found I was often asked and enjoyed helping others learn in my previous jobs.
