Information about Thomas
My tutoring style involves guiding students to answer problems themselves by providing incremental help along the way. By asking the student what approach they believe will work and discussing additional ideas, I hope to inspire confidence that will help them to find solutions independently. I am happy to tutor all levels up to undergraduate university physics.
Availability: As I am currently a PhD student, I am fairly flexible in the hours that I can tutor.
Willing to travel: 3 miles
Experience: I am currently working towards a PhD in Space Physics having graduated with first-class honours in Physics from Imperial College London. I currently assist first-year undergraduate students through departmental schemes and I am a demonstrator in the practical laboratory sessions. During the last academic year I tutored two A level maths students and one A level physics student.

Thomas has been tutoring me how to use Python in data analysis. I really enjoyed his teaching style being not overcrowded with terms but utilising basic Math concepts. Thank you, Thomas!
