Hi there! I am so glad you made the step toward learning and discovering more and I hope we will work together soon!
I enjoy very much working with children of all ages, but my main experience is with 17 to 19 year old students. I am very patient and I love explaining maths and physics to pupils and see them achieve better in their tests.
I am a fully qualified teacher and I work at a secondary and sixth form school in Southwark, London. I mainly teach KS5 maths and physics but I also teach GCSE maths and physics. I have finished my PGCE in Physics with Maths at King`s College London and prior to this I also worked as a Maths TA in the same secondary school that I am currently teaching in. While I worked as a TA, I had a full time position working with GCSE and A-level students in preparation for their summer exams in maths and physics.
My tutoring experience started in March 2020 and since then I have worked with more than 30 students and their families, most of them having long term lessons with me. I have taught a total of almost 400 lessons during this time. My work was done both online and in-person. At the same time, my online teaching experience has also been developed during the lockdown period when all of our classses have moved online, which meant that our school and myself, had to adapt to the new requirements in terms of teaching and assessment.
Please note that at the moment I am only providing online lessons with priority given to A Level students as this is the area in which I have mostly specialised in.

Experience: I am a fully qualified teacher and I currently work at a school in Southwark, London. I mainly teach KS5 maths and physics but I also taught year 7,8,9,10 and 11.
I have finished my PGCE in Physics with Maths at King`s College London and I have worked as a trainee teacher in my first school placement in Tooting. There I am worked with classes in year 8,9,10 and 12 and I have taught both maths and physics.
I also worked as a Maths TA in a secondary school in Southwark, where I had a full time position working with GCSE and A-level students in preparation for their summer maths and physics exams.
My degree is in Physics with Astrophysics from Sussex University. I am open to work on maths or/and physics with you!
I also hold an MSc in Space Science and Engineering from UCL, London and I graduated in 2018.
I am currently enrolled in a part-time Masters course in Mathematics with the Open University.

Andreea provided tutoring to my daughter for a couple of months on the run up to the physics GCSE exams last year. She is a very professional, hard-working and well organised tutor who is familiar with the specifications and is able to provide extra revision material. She is also very experienced in using the tutor hunt platform (and others such as Google meet) and therefore able to optimise the benefits of online learning.

Andreea was an incredible tutor who helped me achieve the exact grade that I needed for my Maths A level. Her lessons were amazingly easy to follow and always ended with all my questions being answered perfectly. She provided me with effective yet simple to follow approaches to any questions that I brought up from each section. I am incredibly grateful to her as she has given me a much more interesting insight into Maths than I ever had before and through that helped me get my desired grade in my end exams.

Andreea deep knowledge of mathematics is matched by her natural aptitude for teaching. Like most kids my twins are not big fans of math but they do look forward to their math lesson with Andreea each week and leave feeling more confident and knowledgeable. I have seen a significant improvement in a matter of weeks.
