Information about Robert
I am a Maths teacher at a specialist school for children and young people with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs. I teach Entry Level Maths, KS3 Maths, GCSE Maths, and A-Level Maths.
I have a BSc in Mathematics and an MSc in Computing. My teaching qualifications are a 7307 Further and Adult Education Teacher`s Certificate and a Learndirect Online Learning Mentoring Module 16 Certificate.
I take a positive and encouraging tutoring approach to help students build up their confidence. I adapt my approach to the individual needs of the student but a typical lesson would be first helping the student with work they are currently doing and need support on, and then continuing with a structured scheme of work. The focus will be on working through past papers in the period coming up to examinations.
I tutor in-person or online. Online tuition is via the TutorHunt virtual classroom platform.
Availability: I have availability in the daytime and evenings Monday - Wednesdays and Saturday mornings.

Experience: I have five years teaching experience of Entry Level, Key Stage 3, GCSE and A-Level Maths.
I have experience teaching learners with autism, ADHD and trauma.

Robert was excellent with my autistic grandson he was very patient and accommodating with him even though in the end my grandson would not cooperate with him, I would highly recommend Robert.
