I am a Maths teacher at a specialist school for children and young people with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs. I teach Entry Level Maths, KS3 Maths, GCSE Maths, and A-Level Maths.

I have a BSc in Mathematics and an MSc in Computing. My teaching qualifications are a 7307 Further and Adult Education Teacher`s Certificate and a Learndirect Online Learning Mentoring Module 16 Certificate.

I take a positive and encouraging tutoring approach to help learners build up their confidence. I adapt my approach to the needs of the student but a typical lesson would be first going through any work the student is currently doing and needs help on and then continuing with a structured course. The focus will shift to working through past papers coming up to examinations.

I tutor in-person or online. Online tuition is via the TutorHunt virtual classroom platform.

Availability: I have availability in the daytime and evenings Monday - Wednesdays and Saturday mornings.

Willing to travel: 15 miles

Experience: I have three years of tutoring experience in Key Stage 3 and GCSE Maths and Functional Skills Maths Level 1 and 2.

I have experience tutoring learners with autism, ADHD and trauma and victimisation.
