Qualified and practicing Science teacher, specialist subject is in Biology.
Currently teaching at one of the top performing grammar Schools in Birmingham (rated Outstanding).
I have a PgDipEd (PGCE from The University of Birmingham. Specialist subject is in Biology.
I have a 1st class Integrated honours degree with masters from The University of Warwick (MBio) in Biological Sciences
GCSE Science and A-level Biology examiner as well.
Availability: Can be flexible to fit in around tutees availability. Mostly available on weekends.
I also provide appropriate work for students to complete after tutoring and can respond to enquiries / questions that tutees may have as well.

Experience: I have been tutoring for over nine years. In my experience, students find accessibility and interpretation of questions being the main barrier to examination success. To overcome this, I focus on embedding effective examination technique through practice examination questions but also getting students to understand the thought processes that goes behind answering examination questions.
