I am an English Literature PhD researcher at Northumbria University. I also hold a first class Master`s degree in English Literature and a BA in English and Sociology. I am seeking to gain more experience in teaching and tutoring students, including adult learners, as I am aiming to work towards postgraduate teacher status within higher education. I am primarily looking to tutor and support undergraduate students in English Literature, as well as modules that focus on critical theory, fantasy literature, Early Modern Drama, Victorian literature and contemporary and modern literature.

I am also happy to consider tutoring at GCSE and A level. Please note that because I am a Literature specialist I may not be able to consider all requests to tutor in English Language, but will be happy to discuss particular needs and see if I can support you. If so, please indicate specific syllabus/subject so I can discuss this further.

I enjoy writing in my spare time, as well as crafting and socialising.

Availability: Evenings and weekends initially.

Experience: I am a careers adviser, but have worked in learning support and teaching roles within FE colleges, primary and secondary education. I am an experienced workplace trainer, and have informally tutored friends and colleagues.
