I am a fully qualified and experienced primary school teacher and private tutor. I specialise in the tutoring of primary English and Maths (Key Stages 1 and 2). I am friendly, creative and enthusiastic, and like to make learning fun and interactive. I am good at identifying gaps in children`s learning and tailoring tutorials to meet specific individual needs. I have a proven track record of moving children`s learning on and boosting their self-esteem and confidence. I find working on a one-to-one basis extremely fulfilling and rewarding. I have a current fully enhanced DBS.

Availability: Available week days and evenings and Saturday mornings.

Experience: I have over 16 years experience as a classroom primary school teacher and more than two years as a private tutor (Key stages 1 and 2). I have taught in the UK, Spain and Abu Dhabi; tutored as part of the government`s National Tutoring Programme for COVID catch-up; and currently tutor children in the UK, China and Qatar. I have an up-to-date and thorough understanding of the Primary National Curriculum, SATs, Phonics and current teaching strategies and methods.
