I’m an experienced primary school teacher who provides one to one tuition to children. I have a PGCE in primary teaching with a mathematics specialism. I am the maths leader in my school, my responsibilities include:
1. Curriculum Development: Design and update the math curriculum to align with educational standards and best practices.
2. Teacher Support: Provide guidance, resources, and professional development opportunities for math teachers.
3. Student Support: Identify and address the needs of struggling students, possibly through tutoring or additional resources.
4. Collaboration: Collaborate with other subject leaders and school administrators to promote a well-rounded education.

I teach phonics to all ages from phase 2-6 and my teaching has ensured all children in my class enjoy reading and writing stories by the age of 5.

I also have a 2:1 Business and Finance degree.

Availability: I am available after school in the evenings. I travel to your house.

I bring resources, books, work and any teaching sides that will support your child to learn.

Experience: I have a PGCE and QTS.
I currently teach EYFS pupils but I have previously taught years 1, 2, 4 and 5. KS1 is my favourite as it’s a challenge to transition the children from play to formal lessons however it’s so rewarding to see the progress each child makes.

I teach all the Core subjects and foundation subjects.

I teach Maths using the Singapore (concrete pictorial abstract) approach and I teach English using Pie Corbett (Read it talk it write it) approach.
I teach phonics using Letters and Sounds 98% pass rate or Read Write Inc.
