I am a self-motivated, reliable and experienced secondary teacher of Mathematics with over 16 years of classroom based experience, including over 3 years as a Head of Department. I have extensive experience teaching KS3, KS4 and AS-level. I have strong behaviour management and problem solving skills enabling a positive and productive learning environment. I`m a highly versatile teacher; having worked in varying schools of size and a range of demographics.

I have over 10 years experience as a private Mathematics tutor, teaching primary school students, GCSE and adult learners. Motivated and determined to support all students to succeed. I currently teach KS2, KS3, common entrance exams, GCSE, IGCSE and A-level.

Mathematics is a language of its own; I enjoy imparting a passion and curiosity for problem solving in my students whilst enabling them to follow a systematic and logical approach. Each student will be assessed individually, identifying the topics they are weak at or not as confident in and an action plan put in place based on their needs. I will adapt my teaching style to suit the learner and enable them to gain confidence and make progress. I will also provide homework and feedback to parents.
