I have completed my PhD at Royal Holloway, University of London in 2017, after which I have been working for the film archives across the world, including the Russian State Film Archive. I offer online tuition in Russian for students of different age groups and levels of language proficiency, and preparation for GCSE/ A level in Russian.

I have been teaching Russian as a foreign language since my university years, which makes it over 20 years of teaching experience. I am particularly interested in bilingualism and have a vast expertise in teaching bilingual and multilingual children.

I will help you to improve your grammar, pronunciation, and vocabulary, as well as gain confidence in speaking.

Experience: By my first degree I am a qualified teacher of the Russian language and literature. While living in Russia, I worked as a Russian teacher with the pupils aged 11-16, teaching four separate classes four days a week. Since my university years, I have been working as a freelance Russian tutor for adult students.

After moving to the UK in 2009, I continued working as a part-time language tutor at the companies Listen&Learn and Language Trainers, mainly focusing on one-to-one tuition. My way of teaching Russian is exciting and effective, with plenty of speaking practice and grammar exercises. My lessons are fun and informative, held in a relaxed atmosphere, and are always tailored to the needs of a particular student.
