I’m passionate about art and love to share my skills and enthusiasm with others.

I`ve worked at major cultural organisations: Royal Opera House, Tate, Ashmolean Museum of Art and Archaeology and Whitechapel Art Gallery, and frequently attend artist talks. I`m an ICOM member that allows me free access to all the major museum exhibitions in London and beyond – something that I take full advantage of.

I studied at The Glasgow School of Art for four years - obtaining a 2:1 BA (Hons) in Fine Art / Historical and Critical Studies. I`m extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of art history (owning hundreds of books that I`m happy to share). My practical skills range from painting (acrylic, oils and watercolour) to printmaking and photography. I continue my own artist practice in my free time.

Experience: When I was a student in Glasgow I participated in the GOALS (Greater Opportunity for Access and Learning in Schools) scheme, designed to stimulate and develop interest in tertiary education within schools that traditionally have a low percentage of children progressing on to university and college. I taught art once a week for several terms at David Livingstone Primary in Blantyre.

I`ve volunteered with Doorstep Library, going into some of the most disadvantaged areas in London to help introduce children from ages one to 11 to the pleasure of reading and inspire them. I visited families once a week during term-time, reading with the children and lending books. I engaged with parents to show how important it is for them to spend time reading with their children and take an active part in their education.
