I like to make lessons fun but educational. Lessons are tailored to each students needs and goals. I can guide the student through recognised exams through ABRSM, Trinity and Rockschool. I also teach a wide range of songs to help the student build a love of music.

Experience: I am a full time professional musician with over 30 years experience in the music industry. I have been fortunate enough to play over 2000 live shows across the world and I have also worked as a studio musician. I have played many styles and genres over the years and I have worked with platinum selling artists and new unsigned acts. I have worked as a music educator for 20 years over half of which has included teaching at Watford Grammar School for boys, Aldenham School and Roundwood park school. I also run private lessons for students ranging in ages from 6 to 80 years old. My main instruments are guitar and bass guitar. I mainly cover the rock and pop syllabus but I am also able to teach classical guitar, using the ABRSM or Trinity syllabuses. I am a passionate teacher and I like to encourage my students to discover their love of music through their chosen instrument and help them to achieve their goals. I am a predominantly self taught musician, but I have studied at ICMP and with private tutors over the years.
