Amelia

I am a TEFL Certified, 1st Class Joint Honours graduate in French and Spanish (with distinction in both spoken languages) from the University of Glasgow.

I have extensive teaching experience with a range of ages and a passion for languages. I have been involved with languages both as a student and as a teacher. Because of this I can appreciate the different ways in which students learn, and find the best approaches to give them the most out of the lesson. I teach in a clear and enjoyable manner, while also maintaining professionalism. For languages I combine essential grammar skills with practical activities and practice (i.e. speaking & writing exercises). Depending on the Tutee`s level and objectives, I can tailor my lessons accordingly.


I have taught in a Chilean University, a French High School, a language camp in Poland and for the charity Language4Water in Glasgow. I have run 1-1 tutorial sessions with students from across the world since 2017. In addition, I have lived in Chile for a year, France for two years and travelled extensively in South and Central America.
