Information about Kate
Enthusiastic BMus and GDL graduate with extensive experience in essay subjects. I specialise in law and music (GCSE, A-level and degree level) and am passionate about ensuring that my pupils reach their full potential.
I have a bachelors in music from the University of Birmingham, and recently received a first-class honours in my law conversion course (GDL). I have a job with an international law firm commencing in 2021.
As both a law and music student, I`ve obtained a knowledge of essay writing that goes beyond A-Levels, which I hope to impart on my students. I aim to help my pupils by providing them with lessons that are catered to their specific needs; providing a comprehensive breakdown of topics that can appear quite overwhelming at first and being sure to coordinate my lessons with the marking criteria.
Availability: I am available Monday - Sunday and am flexible with times.
Willing to travel: Home Only
Experience: I achieved A*A*A in my a-levels in music, psychology and philosophy and ethics and a high 2:1 in my bachelors of music from the University of Birmingham. I received a first in the module music and education, excelling in teaching pupils of different ages.
With regards to law, I have recently obtained a first-class honours in my GDL (law conversion course), and am embarking upon my LPC MSc in Law, Business and Management with the University of Law in September. In 2021, I will commence my job as a solicitor in an international law firm.
