Experience: During 5 years, I worked in a language school as an English and CELTA teacher. I usually taught students who were going to take the Cambridge exams from levels A2 to C1. This role demanded the creation of learning materials every day, teaching lessons of 2 or 3 hours, workshops and intensive courses, conversation classes and preparation of reports. I provided useful and creative lesson plans and I worked with my students perfectly.

Last year, I worked as an English teacher in an after school club in a Spanish schoo. I had to introduce the youngest to the English language and I worked with primary school students (some of them with attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder) but also infants.

Among my duties, I had to employ bilingual abilities to effectively overcome language and education barriers, prepare my classes and students’ homework and mark it and I had to maintain an accurate daily attendance records. Also I had to write reports, inform the parents about the activities we did in class and safeguard the health and safety of my pupils by maintaining good order and discipline. Lastly, I encouraged them to discover the English language and the culture of the English Speaking Countries.
