I am a professional, qualified teacher, who enjoys helping students to improve their knowledge and understanding which, in turn, increases exam attainment.

Experience: I am currently an Academic Deputy Head and have experience of teaching RS, Philosophy, TOK and Psychology. I have worked in four, and have taught students of all abilities throughout key stages 3-5. I have experience of teaching Religious Studies and Philosophy for exams set by AQA, Edexcel, OCR, WJEC and the IB. I have also completed examiner training to examine GCSE exam scri pts for AQA and the IB.

Students that I have taught at all three schools have achieved excellent exam results at GCSE, A-Level and IB respectively. In each case, the results achieved by students who I have taught have been among the best in each respective school. Improving grades can be achieved through accurate identification of the needs of each student, followed by effective personal support.

In addition to offering support with Religious Studies and Philosophy, I can assist IB students with preparation for Theory of Knowledge presentations or essays, as well as Extended Essays. I have also taught History and Geography at key stage 3 and Psychology at A-Level.
