I am a Newly Qualified Teacher and have recently spent 4 years gaining my teaching degree with qualified teacher status. I offer personalised and innovative tutoring across a range of primary subjects to support your child in achieving their best. I believe I have the qualities to push, support and motivate any child to progress and fulfil their learning potential through personalised support for your child’s needs and areas of difficulty. Having just finished my training I believe I hold many new and innovative techniques and strategies to engage a child’s learning alongside their time within school.

I would like to offer tutoring that works alongside the learning methods used in schools currently and ones that work best for your child.

I have experience in all subjects across the primary age and would be happy to develop and teach any of these. I think communication is important between child, parent and myself.

My tutoring never includes hours of listening to me drone on or pages and pages of writing. I tend to try and go for a mix of verbal and written tasks as well as games and interactive activities. However, after getting to know the student I will adapt my technique according to what works for them.

Availability: I am available throughout the week before and after school including half terms and school holidays. On request I may be available at weekends.

Experience: I have over 3 years experience in working in Primary Schools during my teacher training and have knowledge of 1:1 and group sessions. I have taught booster maths, phonics and spelling before/after school clubs to a range of ages.
