I am a 37 year old teaching assistant at a local primary school, currently in my seventh year. At present, I am teaching in year six, preparing my class for their SATs tests in May. I have taught alongside a teacher in both key stages aswell as covering many classes myself. I do many interventions in Maths and English, in groups and also on a 1-1 basis, depending on the child/ren and what would benefit them the most.

Availability: I am available Tuesday - Friday evenings (5-7pm)

Also available weekends (11am-4pm)

Willing to travel: 4 miles

Experience: I have 7 years experience in a teaching assistant post. Working along aside a teacher and covering teachers PPA time in all year groups. I run many intervention groups to enhance subject knowledge and to guide children through any misconceptions in Maths and English.

This is my second year in year six, so I have a good understanding and experience of the practice SATS tests and the SATs themselves, using many different strategies to support children of all abilities.

Recently, I have attended and passed an outstanding teaching assistant course, aswell as sitting the recent Maths and English GCSE exams at Bromley college and passing both under the new grading system. Next year, I will be going onto teacher training.
