COVID 19 UPDATE. I Am able to provide tutoring via SKYPE and WHATSAPP.
I am an experienced (DBS-checked) teacher and tutor of GCSE and A level Chemistry with a track record of excellent results.
My tutees gain a significant improvement in their grades - both at A level and GCSE.
Past students have achieved university places to study Medicine, Veterinary Science, Chemistry and Biochemistry.
I place the student at the centre of everything I do by:
__creating a positive, safe and enjoyable learning environment
__understanding that each student is different and tailoring sessions to meet the needs of the individual.
__providing students with resources and explanations based on their individual requirements.
All my previous tutees have seen a significant improvement in their grades - both at A level and GCSE.
Availability: Week days for remote lessons.
Some week nights.
Saturday and Sunday.

Experience: I have 12 years experience teaching Chemistry GCSE and A level.
Prior to this I was a research Scientist working at the University of Nottingham, The Weizmann Institute of Science and the University of Cambridge.

“Mr Stephen helped me throughout the chemistry course tackling various sections of the course, in particular the organic chemistry which I tended to struggle with. During my A level chemistry course he aided my understanding of the tougher sections, such as Hess`s law. He was able to support me during lockdown by also checking in on my mental health. I`d recommend him as a tutor for any chemistry A level students.” My son was a pupil and this is his feedback.

Stephen was an excellent tutor for our daughter who was preparing for her A levels at the time. She enjoyed the lessons very much and said Stephen was very helpful. It significantly improved her confidence in the subject. Highly recommended.
