Hi!

My name is Steph. I am enthusiastic, approachable and patient post graduate doctoral student studying at the University of Oxford. I am currently completing a professional doctorate where I spend part of my time studying, and the other part of my week working in the NHS.

I am able to tutor Psychology (up to undergraduate level). In addition, I am able to give personal statement advice, proof read drafts of academic work, and offer exam preparation and technique sessions, if required.

My approach to tutoring with be tailored to the requirements of each student, supporting them through subjects of particular difficulty and suggesting methods for independent learning.

My psychology background has provided me with a good understanding of individual differences in learning styles. Sessions will therefore be tailored to each individual tutee so that students can get the most out of each session.

I have previously mentored in a range of subjects (up to GCSE), supporting children and young people to far exceed their predicted grades, and subsequently go on to further education.
