Qualified and experienced history teacher and student coach with 4 years classroom teaching years 7-13. I am compassionate and understanding and love working with students to help them achieve their goals, both short and long term.

I have taught a range of different historical topics to all secondary school age groups and am willing to extend my own subject knowledge in order to help any student who needs tutoring.

I am also able to tutor geography and religious studies at key stage 3.

Experience: 4 years teaching GCSE, both AQA and Edexcel. Topics include but not limited to Elizabethan England, American West, USA, the Cold War, Crime and Punishment, Medicine through time and Weimar and Nazi Germany
4 years teaching AQA A-level, specifically Tudors and Nazi Germany
4 years teaching KS3 history, covering a wide range of topics including the rise and fall Roman Empire, the Vikings, Norman invasion, the Tudors, the English Civil War, the Victorians and World War I and II and inter-war period.

Geography experience includes but is not limited to coasts, population change and development and cold climates development and change.
Religious studies experience includes but is not limited to the Big Six world religions, religious expression and religious teachings.

I have marked for the Edexcel exam board for the USA, conflict home and abroad paper.
