Information about Natasha

**NOW ACCEPTING STUDENTS FOR ONLINE TUITION IN ENGLISH, LITERATURE, CREATIVE WRITING, FRENCH, ITALIAN, LATIN AND CLASSICS***

Is coronavirus disrupting your education? I`m here to help! I`ve been a professional online private tutor for over 8 years, and I teach a range of subjects and levels. As well as providing lessons and resources, I can set you weekly tasks to complete, create and mark mock exams and give essay / academic writing help and feedback. Feel free to get in touch for more info.

Here`s an example of some of the students I`m currently helping:
- Y9 / Y10 and AS Level students preparing for GCSEs and A2s next year
- Y11/ A2 students whose predicted grades are lower than needed to get into higher education (in this case I can help with appeals or prep for the November and next year resits)
- International students, particularly those taking CIE / Edexcel and IBO
- Common Entrance exam prep
- Students who are doing retakes / resits and need to prepare a body of work to submit to teachers, or plan to take the exam at a later date
- Adult learners of Modern foreign languages

For more information, read my full Bio below:

I tutor in English Language and Literature, Classics and Modern Foreign Languages. I love learning of all kinds, and I strive to pass on this enthusiasm to my students. I provide a professional, yet friendly and welcoming environment where students are encouraged to learn and also to enjoy their subjects. My students often boost their grades dramatically within a few months, or achieve fluency in a language within a year.

Each person learns best in his or her own particular way, so I provide personalised lesson plans to meet the individual needs of my students. We can work at your own pace, and target your specific problem areas.

I have over 8 years experience in 1-1 tutoring, so I am comfortable teaching a variety of exam boards (CIE, AQA, Edexcel, OCR) and also helping more casual learners with specific goals.

I regularly tutor at degree level (Masters / PhD), I also spent 2 years as Head of English for CHS, where I was in charge of creating a syllabus based around the Cambridge Exam Board, for IGCSE and A Level. I am also an approved AQA examiner, qualified to mark exam papers in both English Literature and Language GCSE and A Level.

I`ve been passionate about Languages and Literature since a very young age, and I`m an aspiring writer, having had several essays and poems published over the years. I also offer Creative Writing lessons, where I can teach students how to perfect their writing techniques and develop a personal, unique style.

Availability: Monday- Friday, 9am-10pm - weekend lessons are available for students with imminent deadlines.

I have a been teaching online for over 8 years. I`m available to teach via Skype if students are not able to travel.

ALL STUDENTS ARE ENTITLED TO A FREE TRIAL LESSON.

LESSONS MAY BE CANCELLED OR CHANGED FREE OF CHARGE WITH 24HRS NOTICE.

Willing to travel: Home Only

Experience: PRIVATE TUITION
I have been a tutor for 8 years, teaching a variety of students of all ages and levels in a number of different subjects. I teach a wide range of subjects to high proficiency because I love learning - Literature, Languages and Classics are particular passions of mine which I`ve studied to a high degree of proficiency over the years.

TEACHING / EXAMINER POSITIONS
I spent 2 years as Head of English for CHS (Cambridge Home School. I constructed syllabuses for and taught lower school, iGCSE and A Level English Language and English Literature, though our exam board is CIE, I`m also familiar with other exam boards, AQA and Edexcel in particular. I have been an examiner for AQA English for the past two years.

OXBRIDGE APPLICATIONS / UNIVERSITY ENTRANCE
I regularly help students with their Personal Statements, entrance exams and interview technique for top universities, such as Oxford, Cambridge, Bristol, Durham and UCL. I can help in this regard with any chosen subject, recently I have helped students with Psychology entrance exams for Oxford and Cambridge, as well as writing personal statements for Business Management and History.

ENTRANCE EXAMS / INTERVIEWS
I assist students regularly with entrance exams and interview technique for top level schools, especially the 11+. 13+ and 16+ English and Verbal and Non Verbal Reasoning skills.

TEFL
I am a fully qualified TEFL teacher (English Language - Distinction Grade with TEFL Cambridge Intensive Course, Business English, Academic English), having worked with five online teaching companies (in the UK, China, Russia and Japan).

DEGREE
In 2012 I graduated from the University of Bristol with a First Class degree in English. I am confident in tutoring both English Language and English Literature, as well as general research and essay writing skills.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
I have an A Level in French, and I attained full marks in my speaking exam and my coursework. I love to read in French, cook French food and I visit friends in France regularly. I am happy to teach French to students of all levels and ages I am very familiar with the AQA and CIE exam specifications.

In 2012 I lived in Florence, Italy, where I attended a language school and picked up Italian. Having learnt through total immersion, I achieved a high rate of fluency in a short period of time. I love Italian culture as much as the language, and have spent time managing an Italian restaurant in the past. I currently teach CIE Italian but am also familiar with AQA.

Although having just stated Spanish lessons with Natasha, I find her an extremely pleasant and capable tutor, and I feel confident that she will help me achieve my goal.
I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Natasha, whether you are a complete beginner as myself, or you require a much more advanced level.

Tutors Response :

Thank you so much for your lovely feedback Roger! Looking forward to helping you build your confidence in Spanish.
