Information about Rawan
I have a Masters of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering from Imperial College in London where I graduated with a Merit and was awarded First Class for my thesis research.
Prior to my postgraduate, I completed my undergraduate degree at the University of Surrey in Chemical Engineering where I achieved First Class Honours.
Whilst at the University of Surrey, I worked on many events with the physics department to inspire and encourage young people (aged 7-16) to take on a career in Science and Engineering, events included school workshops and Physics Trial Days. Also offered tutoring support on Science and Mathematics related subjects to young people at schools.
My degrees have given me a broad knowledge in Mathematics and Science related subject and my passion to share this with younger people is the key driver for my interest in tutoring. I am able to offer structured and comprehensive support in Mathematics for students studying for Key stages 2 and 3. My experience as a student over the years has helped me develop my own techniques for exam preparation and revision which allow me to offer excellent support to students undergoing preparation for exams.
I am friendly, flexible and keen to encourage young people to do better at schools and go on to undertake further education.
Availability: Monday - Friday (9.30-4:00)
