I am an enthusiastic and passionate Primary teacher who has over 10 years teaching experience both in the UK and overseas. I completed my Bachelor of Education, specialising in Early Childhood Education in 2011 and have also completed my Master of Education, specialising in behaviour management and language difficulties.
My real passion is Early Years and KS1 as I believe that all children need to have the solid foundations in all key learning areas in order to succeed as they progress throughout their schooling life. I am also a firm believer that children need to be confident and have a positive sense of self in order for them to access all areas of learning and see social and emotional development as key areas of focus in the early years of schooling. Experience: I am currently a full time Reception teacher and have extensive experience teaching from Nursery to Year 3. I was also a Year 2 teacher for 4 years so have considerable knowledge on the SATs assessments.
Part of my current role also involves me leading Phonics across the school, so I can provide lots of support with this also.
